Use on Your Team[]
Holy Keeper can cast shields to reflect damage. When compared to Astral Child, Astral Child casts 3 shields, verses Holy Keeper's 2; however Holy Keeper's damage reflection is higher, making her shields cause more damage to the enemy overall. Quality and level being equal, Holy Keeper is a better choice overall.
It is her revive skill that earns her a guaranteed spot on your team, though. The ability to return a hero from the dead is a very good reason to put her in your revive spot and defend her at all costs. This should include providing someone who can cleanse debuffs like stuns. Exorcist is a good choice for that role. With a well enhanced Holy Keeper, and some healing Crests, you can even forego bringing healers on your team.
Countering[]
Holy Keeper is not easy to kill; but her resistance is low; so you can stun, silence, or steal her rage. Your best chance is to keep her locked down while you kill everyone else on her team. Warning: Revive is a passive skill, so you can't stop it (like you can't stop a Dark Paladin revive).
